I have heard of keeping up with the Jones, but this is certainly unexpected. Apparently a lot of people are not only just watching the event, but many want to participate at home as well. So they are setting up their TVs in front of their rowing machines, treadmills, or exercise bikes to “follow” the Olympics as they row, run, or bike. In the process of setting up their machines to workout at the same speed as the Olympians, these people are breaking the machines (clearly home exercise equipment are not Olympics quality)… or themselves?
