exercise products

During my last post about why exercise dvds are a cheap way to experiment with exercise, I mentioned that there are many types of workout dvds out there that can match up with whatever fitness fetish you might have. This post is a discussion of the advantage of an exercise program with a pre-designed eating plan and workout sessions.

This post is a discussion of why using exercise dvds are a cheap way to work out. As some of my regular readers know, I workout exclusively with exercise dvds at home. I generally do not count my bowling nights, walks at breaks, and walks around the neighborhood as my daily exercise quota. These activities always involve other people. I consider these activities to be my socializing time since my focus is talking to the people I am with.

In my early 20s when I first started exercising regularly, I was overtraining myself. Of course, I did not recognize the insomnia and constant fatigue were the effects of exercising too much. I thought my never ending aches were a badge of my dedication to a healthier and thinner lifestyle. Neither did I notice that my headaches were not from drinking too much coffee and that it is not natural for a young woman to have that many colds.

The battery of my heart rate monitor died on me again. I have an old Acumen that I brought for myself as a birthday gift 3 years ago. I changed the battery twice already. I think it is sign to upgrade to something that have a little more features, something fancy (I can just imagine my husband rolling his eyes at my attempt to justify spending yet more money on workout toys).
