With the farewell post from Back in Skinny Jeans earlier this year, I am also slowly trying to stop writing about weight loss. At some point, weight should be a none issue in a woman’s life. I am proud of the fact that I write about the many facets of health that we deal with from making food choices to to our health insurance.
Being censured is not what blogging is about. I love the freedom of being able to write without thinking about how people will react to my posts before I made the stupid mistake of raving about this new wonderful hobby of mine.
Being deadly afraid of catching the flu (swine?) from my office before my vacation, I have been drinking Emergen-C at the slightly hint that I might come down with something. Hearing all these stories of co-workers with young children sick from the flu, makes me take drastic measures such as washing my hands, using a paper towel to open door handles, and using hand sanitizer.

I forgot to mention that I was one of the featured bloggers on BlogHer’s Juice a couple of weeks ago. That is what happens when you are planning a wedding, keeping up with the blogging community, remodeling a foreclosed home, and working a new job.
This episode of the Juice talks about tips on how to stay in shape when you are traveling.

I finally figured out why certain posts keep getting comment spam vs. other posts on my blog. Whenever a reader insert one of my posts url on a forum, I notice that I would get massive amounts of comment spams for that post.
Five posts on my blog generate 90% of my comment spam.

With some trepidation, I decided that I am going to publish my posts with full RSS feed and monitor its misuse per Jonathan Bailey’s advice. Am I afraid? Oh yes. How can you not be afraid when you embank on a different path than the course you originally set for yourself? But more than anything else, I am afraid this might mean that I will see more pieces of my life on another blog.

I know for a fact that I do not have as many subscribers as I should on my blog. Usually after a surge in traffic from a Stumble or a link on the blogroll of a popular website , I get a good amount of people subscribing. But after a week, I usually end up losing a good 80% of these new subscribers. I know the reason I lose subscribers is because I do not publish my full RSS feed.
Then why don’t you publish your full Rss feed?
