Whenever I want to drop a few vanity pounds, the first thing I do is look at what I am drinking. I have a tendency to drink my calories. I eat about the same volume of food every day, but it is always the caloric intake from drinks that cause me to gain weight. My [...]

I am turning 31 this weekend. Birthdays are always an exciting time for me. All the free lunches and free dinners because people want to treat you. Then there are the birthday cakes (yep, multiple ones). Lastly there is the grand finale feast that my mom spends all day shopping and preparing when I visit. According to Reader’s Digest, most women gain back the weight they loss for a wedding within a year of the marriage. I might have set a new record with my 2 months. It has to be the weather. If you count the ingredient list of these meal plans, they usually average at least 6 to 10 ingredients. Most of which are used in only 1 or 2 meals for a week long meal plan. How practical is that?! Variety in food is what kills most diet plans.
The execution of a diet meal plan is the key to success for weight loss.

Though I am quite happy with the amount of traffic I get from people passing through, I really want to have more “regulars” show up on my doorsteps. And as with real life, you cannot make friends unless you let people in – let them see the real you.
So this year, I would like to share more stories about my life (or at least stories pertaining to health and fitness), even if they do not end with some profound sentence about how the story will change my readers life. I would like to take shot at trying to amuse my readers with the mishaps and adventures in my life……………..
