Welcome Little Hazelnut!

It’s been a while since I last wrote. Things have been a little hectic since our daughter, Little Hazelnut, was born a few weeks earlier than expected. After two weeks of being a new mom, I feel like I am finally coming up for air. I never knew sleep deprivation until now. I was not prepare for round-the-clock diaper changing and feeding at two hour intervals. And depending on how Hazelnut is feeling, sometimes it could be at one hour intervals. Seriously, if Hazelnut was not so cute I probably would have asked for a refund.

Everything else, this blog included, is going to have be on the back burner while I try to get a handle on these new mom duties and catching up on sleep when the baby snoozes.

Until next time and thanks for stopping by Small Steps to Health.

Congratulations on your Little Hazelnut! And I hope you manage to get a little sleep :)

Sleep? What is that? I am running on strong coffee these days. Black no cream. Not a good sign. I cannot wait until Hazelnut is about 3 months old. Supposedly by then she sleeps for3-4 hours between each feeding with a larger stomach instead of the 2 hours now.

Meg – it is pretty amazing the changes since I first started blogging 2007. Once hazelnut start letting me sleep tonight I should have more energy to blog and blog hop again regularly. Thanks for the good wishes!
