Sorry for being MIA lately. I’ve been really distracted by my newest health development. I’ve been paying tribute to the porcelain bowl in my bathrooms and mostly sleeping my life away. Some mornings my dark eye bags jolts me awake faster than any cup of coffee. And dragging my ass around is getting old. Exercise? Out the window. Eating healthy? I’m trying in between my chocolate and ice cream fixes. Blogging? Right, as if I have time between working full time and sleeping.
Ok, if you haven’t guessed it yet — I am pregnant! My first trimester ends next week. I’ve been sitting on my hands every time I look at my blog because I want to tell the world. So MIA for a while is better than spilling the beans before I am comfortable with telling people.
But the 2nd ultrasound showed a healthy and active fetus and I just can’t hold it in anymore. So for all my co-workers reading my blog, I haven’t told my boss yet. So let’s hush until next week. After next week, you are going to need duct tape if you want to stop me from jabbering on about my baby.
Since I’ve been holding back from blogging, be prepare for an onslaught the next several months. Gosh, I feel sorry for my loyal readers who decide to stick with me during this exciting stage in my life. As anyone can tell you, there is nothing worse than an excited new mommy. You just can’t shut her up. Let me apologize in advance and thank you, loyal readers, for sticking by me. But I already feel sorry for you.
Until next time and thanks for stopping by Small Steps to Health.

Congratulations! I guessed it immediately! I’m glad all that money spent to go to med school wasn’t completely waisted
