I see a lot of similarities between my cooking reluctance and sedentary people exercising for the first time. Notice how I NEED to have all the proper kitchen equipment, just like some people NEED to have all the proper exercise equipment. Whatever happened to just doing it?

Whenever I think about walking to lose weight, I think of Leslie Sansone. She is the queen of walking exercise videos. Some people find her chattiness annoying, but I find it amusing. I often recommend her 1 mile or 2 mile exercise dvds to sedentary beginners.

When trying to lose weight, have you ever consider getting less sleep because you will burn more calories awake than sleeping? It seems logical, but it is a false assumption. A good night of sleep (as in restful 7 hours) actually does more to help with your weight loss goals than staying awake for an extra 2 hours. Are you interested in a 33 pound weight gain?
