Welcome to Small Steps to Health where we do not take orders from a cookie!
I have been toying with the idea of a new blog lately. Since telling a few friends and family members know about my site, I felt slightly censured and worried about the stories that I use as examples in my posts. Someone told me that someone’s feelings were hurt because of an off chance remark I made about something. I hope that last sentence made some sense!
Being censured is not what blogging is about. I love the freedom of being able to write without thinking about how people will react to my posts before I made the stupid mistake of raving about this new wonderful hobby of mine.
But I would hate to “start over” because I have almost two years of archived information on this site. Gosh, it will take me forever to get page ranked and to built up search engine traffic again. If I have to start over, I don’t think I will want to write about health and fitness. It would be too discouraging. Maybe I can start a blog about my kois. Or maybe about my lack of cleaning skills. Or maybe I should stick to reading instead of attempting to do some writing.
Feeling discouraged. Going to bed.
Until next time and thanks for stopping by.

I trust you two had a wonderful time in Italy! As it turned out, my dad was there at the same time!!
As for your blog, I suggest you either not mention your family/friends for a while, or modify the stories to still get your point across and yet leave them out.
.-= Dr. J´s last blog ..TV news often gets health stories wrong =-.
Dr. J – I talked to so many other American tourists in Italy. I love fellow travelers. Everyone is so nice!
That is a good idea. I have been trying to lay low for a while, hoping that the offended someone will get tired of checking to make sure that I am not mentioning them.
