Starting to Feel Overwhelm by Wedding Plans

Welcome to Small Steps to Health where we do not take orders from a cookie!

With only three months left and so many details unplanned, I am starting to feel overwhelm about the wedding.  At first every one wants to help, but only if I agree with their suggestions.  Now I am tying tiny little bows on my invitations by myself.  I am an army of one.  Where is the help?

One sister is annoyed that I did not want her to arrange my flowers.  The other two are finishing up their finals.  My mom is too careless.  My husband has “big fingers” (according to him), so I will be tying over a 100 little tiny bows on invitations that he picked.  Oh yes, the rant about my wedding plans is leading somewhere.

I hate to “punish” my loyal readers, but I am have to take a long break from blogging.  For the next three months, I will only be posting occasionally when I need to take a break from wedding planning.  I have to spend my free time exercising and doing wedding related things like bow tying.  By making an “official” announcement that I will not be blogging, I hope to stop feeling guilty about neglecting my blog.

But after September I should be back to my regular posting schedule.  If any one is interested in guest blogging, please send me an email at asithi.blogATgmail.com

Until next time and thanks for stopping by Small Steps to Health.

Preparing for a wedding is hard work! But worth it, right? Make sure that you have fun with it :)

@Sagan – No matter simple a wedding is, it is still hard work. Sure it is just a big party with your friends and family, but it is a formal big party. Where people expect certain things, like flowers and a beautiful bride (I think that part is the most stressful part). Thanks for listening.
