		<description>@Kurt - that is true.  There is a small percentage of people who are really allergic to mercury.  And over time, the metal fillings can crack and leak.  Thanks for the comment.</description>

		<description>You forgot the most important factor in having silver fillings, mercury.  My friend almost died from the mercury in his silver fillings and it took years to figure out that was his problem.</description>

		<description>@ dental - but porcelain are more brittle.  they are not meant to last as long as the metal fillings.  with a combination of porcelain and metal fillings myself, I cannot say that I notice it all that much since they are on my molars when all said and done.</description>
