I forgot to mention that I was one of the featured bloggers on BlogHer’s Juice a couple of weeks ago. That is what happens when you are planning a wedding, keeping up with the blogging community, remodeling a foreclosed home, and working a new job.

The drug company, GlaxoSmithKline, has a website for heart attack survivors. They are giving away a free exercise dvd for heart attack survivors to help strength your heart. The exercise program was developed by a doctor and Bob Greene. The free exercise dvd includes activities that people can do daily at home or the office.

Every few months, I struggle with my resolution to decrease my coffee intake. I do not need caffeine, but I love the taste of coffee. And decaf just does not taste the same. But I try to limit myself to a weekly coffee treat because I am part of the whipped, foamed, blended cult created by Starbucks. I cannot afford the extra calories or the cost.

This post is a discussion of the impacts of caffeine on our health. The caffeine commonly ingested by people are found in coffee (300+ mg of caffeine), soda (35+ mg of caffeine per can), and tea (40+ mg of caffeine).

This post is a discussion of the advantages and disadvantages of porcelain vs. silver metal dental filling materials.

I replaced two of my old silver colored metal fillings with two porcelain fillings last year. It was a vanity decision. However, if given another chance, I would have left my old fillings alone.

How much is quality of life worth to you?

Before my car accident a few years ago, the question of “quality of life” bears no meaning. All that matters was that I could fit into my skinny jeans. My body did not protest when I put it into motion after hours of inactivity without a proper warm-up. It could be that I am getting older.
