Even though we have more knowledge available about the female body, we are more ignorant than ever before in human history. Somewhere between being a teenager and being an adult we have develop a disconnect with our female bodies.
And whenever there is a “glitch in the system,” our reactions range from annoyance to outright anger. We feel betrayed by our bodies. How dare our female bodies interrupt our lives! But a lot time, we chose to ignore the subtle messages that our bodies are sending.

We all start a diet or exercise program with good intentions of following it through and seeing spectacular results. Sometimes there might be a tinge of doubt, but we brush it aside and think that “this time it will be different.” But is it really that different?

Some insurance companies cover every aspect of the pregnancy and delivery, but that is if you have a top notched health insurance (or you are paying high premiums). According to the Kaiser Family Foundation, a typical uncomplicated vaginal birth could cost anywhere between $1,500 to $7,900 in out-of-pocket expenses. A typical uncomplicated C-section could cost anywhere between $2,200 – $9,800 in out-of-pocket expenses. What if there are complications? For a complicated C-section, you are looking at $21,200. Actually wedding dresses sizing makes wedding dress shopping down right depressing.
This a post on my thoughts about wedding dresses sizing and a tip I learned that could save you some money when you shop for a wedding dress.

Sometimes I wonder if aliens are watching us from a distant planet whether they would find it strange the amount of money or time we spend on seeking expert advice on how to eat healthy. We read magazines and books, consult with nutritionists and doctors, and even check with the government (ie. the food pyramid) on one of our most basic survival skills.
