I found that at work I would 'bored eat.' I bought snacks that were healthier to substitute for the junk I was eating and I'd take 'internet' breaks and check my email or do something fun. But I don't eat as much when home all day, and since I recently got laid off, hopefully that won't be a problem! lol! Great post!

I agree with everything you wrote in this post. I don't know why, but with emotions running high, and with the extra availability of sugar during the holiday season, I have found my waistline growing in size. I'm going to implement these ideas to get back down to my ideal weight!

Making a salad is a great idea. Then you will still be able to fulfill the urge to eat but avoid the junk food.

I would contend that the main issue to gain health is to discover joy in movement. The more gains made, the more important issues surrounding food become.
