Your Dream Weight and Your Happy Weight

What is your dream weight? Mine would be at 125 pounds. I am 5′3″. I haven’t seen this weight since freshman year in college. I rather be able to maintain this weight for life than to win the lottery. But I think I have a higher chance in winning the lottery than to ever get back my 18 year old body.
My happy weight is at 135 pounds, right before my car accident a few years old. It is the weight that I did not have to struggle with, as long as I limit my ice cream treat to once a week. It was my look good and feel good weight.
What is your highest acceptable weight? My highest acceptable weight is 140 pounds. At one point, I thought I will throw myself in front of a moving bus if I ever get pass 140 pounds. But since I am still alive and long pass 140 pounds, I have settled on a new comfort level for my weight.
As I get heavier, I realize that it is easier to accept what I previously thought would be the end the world for me at 140 pounds. Too often, we set these unrealistic expectations when it comes to weight loss only to realize that we were probably perfect before.
I probably will be able to reach my happy weight without much effort if I ever stop working. I am usually pretty active, but being chained to an office chair for nine hours plus my hour and half commute basically contribute to my wider office butt. I do not see that being an option any time soon. So in the meantime, I will settle for my highest acceptable weight at 140 pounds. Hopefully, I will be able to reach that goal before the end of this year.
Until next time and thanks for coming by.
