I signed up for Payperpost.com a few months ago. I check the listing occasionally to see if there might be any opportunities of interest. Well, I have not found any yet. Unlike some of the other blog advertising programs, I like the fact that I am able to choose from a listing of opportunities if I want an assignment.

If an advertiser is asking for a positive review of a quick weight loss scam (yes, I think most of them are scams), then they are not the right opportunities for me. I prefer opportunities that allow the blogger to post a positive or negative review. Hey, bad publicity is better than no publicity!

Writing paid posts are not going to allow me to quit my day job as an engineer. But it would be nice to cover the overhead cost of this blog. I do not feel that I am “selling out” because I will not write posts that do not mesh with my beliefs.

Unless I can somehow bridge what the advertiser want to my goal of providing honest health information for weight loss and fitness, I find that I must pass on the opportunity. If I am writing a paid post, I will always let my readers know this information.
